Owner(s) Willi Von Haderlitz
Leyland Trask's reading "I see your friend, Willi Von Haderlitz. He is in very great danger. The ring. Yes, did — did you notice the Russian characters on the inside band? Willi has a hidden life."

Willi's ring is an item given to Frank Carlson by Willi von Haderlitz

What to do

After winning two matches in fencing with Willi, he will offer the ring in friendship to Carlson.

After the ring is retrieved, Carlson can be guided to Leyland Trask by Henry Gorse-Jones, or simply by finding him standing on the Grand Staircase. He will remark on the ring, and on the Russian writing within the band. He will get a vision of Willi's impending death in the electric bath.

Trask will then inform Carlson that the ring gives him a vision of a beautiful girl, and tells Carlson to find her, and show her the ring.

The player can then visit Claris Limehouse on D-Deck, and can get a hint to visit her from Max Seidelmann. Claris will recognize the ring, and tell Carlson that Willi told her if anyone ever gave it to her, that she could trust them, and tell them that Willi hid a notebook on board.

After meeting Claris, she will ask Carlson for the ring. He can either give it to her or keep it. It serves no other purpose, and if Carlson keeps it, it will disappear from inventory after the ship strikes the iceberg.
